...About Us

The idea for Maybe Morning came together in March of 2003 (the name comes from a combination of the first two Oasis albums).  Guitarist Chris Townsend and Bassist Maria Palmer began writing and reworking the songs from the album.  With twelve new songs and three select covers ("Joey" by Concrete Blonde, a punked up version of the Juice Newton classic "Angel of the Morning", and The Cars new-wave masterpiece "Just What I Needed") they began practice with drummer Scott Sisemore.  Early in 2004 friend and seasoned guitarist Cash Oliver joined the band to take over lead guitar. The band currently rehearses twice a week and are putting finishing touches on a new album. From the Oasis-esq sound of "I'm Curious" to the punky "Babydoll Papershack" and alt-country sound of "Time I Got Back" the album flaunts an eclectic style with something for everyone.
